5. Interpreting Results

Look again at your list of results.

Some of these articles will have full text available, while others will only provide an abstract (or summary) of the article's content. Still others may only list citation information, that is, only where to find the article. Look at the page icon to the left of the article link — if there's no letter in the icon, you're in luck because the full text can be viewed by clicking on the link.

Let's look for the second article shown above though. No full text available? Click on the icon to find your article. UC-eLinks will tell you if the article is available full-text through another database or, if not, how to locate a print copy. If there's no full text there however, don't despair — you have alternatives!
